Bumble Bee Bookmark with Printable Template
These cute little bumble bee bookmarks are such a fun craft for kids to make! It’s also so easy using our printable bumble bee template.

And since spring is here, we are making tons of fun spring craft for kids. They especially love fun bug crafts like this.
Today we have an adorable bumble bee bookmark craft.
This little guy is a corner bookmark and perches up on the corner of the page to hold your place.
To make this little bee all you need is some basic craft supplies such as scissors and glue, and a bit of craft paper.
Construction paper would work for this, but the smoother-colored craft paper found in the craft stores works much better.

Supplies Needed For Bee Bookmark
- Colored craft paper
- Bumble Bee Bookmark Template
- Pink marker
- Black sharpie
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Craft glue
To Make Your Bumble Bee Bookmark
To make this bumble bee corner bookmark you should grab our bee template at the end of this tutorial. We’ll also walk you step by step on making your corner bookmark.
If you have trouble with the written instructions, you’ll find a little video at the end that will walk you through the whole thing.
Making the Corner piece of the Bee Bookmark
Start by making a square piece of paper in your desired bookmark base color.
We used just a piece of plain white paper.
Cut it into a 10in by 10in square. (Although as small as 8in would work too.)
Next, fold the square piece of paper in half along the diagonals, touching corner to corner.
You’ll end up with double layered triangle like depicted below.
Next, fold the bottom left and right corners of the triangle to the top corner and unfold them again.
Grabbing the top corner of the top layer of paper and fold it toward the bottom of the triangle.
You can see what I mean in the photo.
Next, fold up the bottom left corner completely toward the top corner.
Fold in half, the folded part between the layers formed in step 4 like this:
Now fold up and fold in the other side of the corner to complete your bee bookmark.
Making the Bumble Bee Bookmark
This little bumble bee bookmark is one of our favorite summer crafts for kids.
To get started, make sure you head over to our craft printable library and download and print out the bumble bee template.
Now that your corner book mark is complete, we’ll use the bee bookmark template to finish it.
Gather your craft papers in the colors you want for your bumble bee.
We used your basic bee colors like yellow, white and black. But you can use whatever colors you like for your little bumble bee.
Print out the bumble bee template and cut out the pieces.
Then trace all the pieces onto your craft paper and cut out your bee parts.
We used yellow for the bee’s body, white for his wings, and black for the stripes, eyes and antenna’s.
Once you have all of your bumble bee cut outs.
Now glue down the curved stripes onto your bumble bee’s body.
Attach the bees antenna and eyes as well.
Now attach your bee’s wings to either side of his body.
You’ll want to glue these down to the back side of your bee.
Using your black and pink markers, add details to your bees wings and face.
Attach him to your corner bookmark, finishing your bee bookmark.
How to Make a Bee Bookmark
This adorable bee bookmark craft is simple but so adorable. You'll fold paper to create a corner bookmark, and then use our free printable bee bookmark template to help you make a cute little bee.
