Ideas for Using your Printable Ornaments
You can use these printables as your Christmas tree ornaments on your main Christmas tree. They'd look great grouped together with some pretty Christmas lights.
But there are other great ways to use these ornaments too.
Decorate a Work Tree
Since these ornaments are free and printable, they make great ornaments for decorating the workplace!
You can quickly click and print them at work and hang them on the wall or a small Christmas tree in the office.
Classroom
These free printables are also awesome for use in the classroom. If you have older kids, they can even help with the cutting.
Just make enough copies to go around and let them get to cutting out the ornaments one by one.
You can hang them on a classroom tree, decorate a bulletin board or string them up as a decorative bunting.
Kids Room
Kids love making their own Christmas decorations. These are a great kids' activity if you let them cut them out themselves and decorate their room with the ornaments.
Kids love being active in the decision-making process, so try let them decide where they'll look best in their room. They'll love how it looks and proud of having and making their own Christmas ornaments.
Christmas Crafts
These don't have to be used just as printable ornaments either. You can also cut them out and use them to decorate Christmas gifts or cards.
Don't be afraid to enhance the ornaments by adding details to them too!
You can add some glitter glue to accent them or hand paint areas to emphasize texture.
They possibilities are endless and only limited by creativity.
How to Download the Printable Ornaments
We tried to make this super easy. To download the ornaments, head over to our printable library.
Downloading the Ornaments
Find the printable ornaments, click to download the Free printable PDF and print! The first 5 pages are the ornaments.
Cutting the Ornaments Out
I like using very small scissors like nail scissors to get into the smaller areas of the designs. It makes the cutting more precise.
If kids are cutting these out, normal kids scissors are best, as the nail scissors can easily cut their fingers.
Creating Double Sided Ornaments
We also included a backside to each ornament in case you want a front and back.
It won't work if you print on each side of the paper.
Instead, you'll have to cut out each ornament and it's backside and glue together with a glue stick or double-sided tape.
Hanging the Ornaments
Once you have your ornaments printed and cut out, you can start to hang them.
Using a pin or a hole punch, add a hold to the top of your ornament and attach some string so you can hang up the ornaments.
If you are putting them on a wall, you can use double sided tape or tacks.
If you are wanting these ornaments to last Christmas after Christmas, I suggest using cardstock or to laminate your ornaments.
We hope you find these free printable Christmas ornaments helpful for your holiday decorating.
They would make great tree ornaments, classroom decorations, and kids' crafts this season!
