The Pin the Nose on the Snowman Printable

We have two variations for our snowman poster. The first one features a big snowman face, minus his nose.

The second version includes the title of the game on the post itself.

The third page of the printable PDF file includes several carrot noses to print out and cut out to pin on the snowman.

Materials Needed

To ensure a successful and enjoyable game of “Pin the Nose on the Snowman,” gather the following materials before you begin:

Our printable snowman template: Download the adorable snowman template (found below) which will serve as the main game board.

Carrot-shaped noses: You can either print out the carrot-shaped noses provided with the template or create your own using orange construction paper for a more hands-on approach.

Scissors: A pair of scissors will be required to cut out the carrot-shaped noses for the game.

Tape or adhesive putty: Choose your preferred method of attaching the carrot noses to the snowman – either tape or adhesive putty works well.

Blindfold: Any soft fabric or scarf will do as a blindfold to cover the players’ eyes during the game.

Optional: prizes for the winner(s): Although not necessary, offering small prizes for the winner(s) can add an extra element of excitement and friendly competition to the game.

How to Play Pin the Nose on the Snowman

Here’s how to start playing the game!

Print the snowman template: Download the snowman templateand print it out. I suggest using cardstock or thick paper if possible. Be sure to give him a cute snowman name!

Cut out the carrot-shaped noses: Use scissors to carefully cut out the provided carrot-shaped noses from the printed template or create your own using orange construction paper.

Hang the snowman: Find an open area with enough space for players to move around.

Hang the snowman at eye level on a wall or door, making sure it’s secure and won’t fall off during the game.

Prepare the players: Have each player take turns being blindfolded with a soft fabric or scarf.

Spin them around a few times to disorient them slightly. Hand them a carrot nose with tape or adhesive putty on the back.

Play the game: Each blindfolded player will take turns attempting to pin the carrot nose onto the snowman in the correct spot.

The other players can offer verbal guidance or choose to stay silent for added difficulty.

Once all players have had their turn, remove the blindfolds.

Determine the winner: Measure the distance from the correct spot for each player’s attempt.

The player who placed the carrot nose closest to the correct spot on the snowman is declared the winner.
