Today we are making this fun Christmas Carolers Puppet Craft. A fun and easy way to create a unique holiday craft.

Once the holiday season arrives, the want to create more crafts comes right along with it.

I don’t make up the rules – it’s just how they are!

When this happens, just know that the kids feel that way, too. Having an idea of fun Christmas Crafts for Kids is a great way to increase creativity and fun.

And like many of our other easy crafts for kids, this one comes with a printable template.

Other great craft options can be as simple as building a paper gingerbread house or putting together a printable Nativity scene.

To make these carolers, you just need a few easy supplies and a short amount of time. Let’s get started!

Materials

Carol craft template: Grab the template at the end of the post.

Colored craft papers: We used a combination of yellow, orange, red, blue, black, green, pink, and brown.

Pencil: to trace the template.

You’ll also need other simple supplies like:

  • Craft glue
  • Popsicle sticks

Instructions

Get the printed templates and trace the patterns on the colored paper. Trace the head, hair, hands, and clothing. Then cut out the traced patterns.

Take the scissors and cut along the line on the top side of the hair pattern.

Put the top of the head cutout through the slit from below and then add glue to attach the head and the hair.

Glue the pom pom circles on the top of the har cutouts.

Glue the shoes on the bottom of the pants and skirt cut out.

Attach the pants and the shirt together to form the outfit for the boy.

Attach the heads on both the dress patterns and the shirt and pant patterns.

Put the hats with the pom poms on top of the heads.

Attach the glove hands on each side of the book. Put them in a way to make it look like they’re holding the choir books. Attach the book to their bodies.

You can use a sharpie to draw their faces.

Put the puppets on the popsicle stick, and just like that, you’ve got your caroling puppets!
