Popsicle Stick Dragonfly Craft
These cute popsicle stick dragonflies are so cute and easy to make! Just a popsicle stick, a pipe cleaner and some googly eyes create these super cute little guys.
Spring is fully in the air and we have been loving some good kids spring crafts.
We’ve made lots of fun bug crafts for kids! So if you are looking for a super cute and very easy dragonfly craft, you’ll love this one.
A little colorful tape, some pipe cleaners, and a few googly eyes and you’ll have your self an entire army of these adorable popsicle stick dragonflies.Â

Dragonfly Popsicle Stick Craft Supplies
For this dragonfly craft you’ll need:
- Popsicle sticks
- Colorful Washi tape
- Googly eyes
- Pipe cleaners
- Craft glue
How to Make Your Popsicle Stick Dragonflies
This tutorial is super easy. But we’ll walk you through the steps anyway.
First grab your popsicles sticks. These will be your dragonflies bodies. Then cover each stick with a piece of washi tape.
Now that your dragonflies have fun colored bodies grab a few sets of your googly eyes.
Glue one set of eyes toward the top of each of your tape covered popsicle sticks.
Now you can make a few sets of dragonfly wings out of your pipe cleaner. We used a fun metallic one, but any color coordinating pipe cleaners will work!
To make their wings, fashion your pipe cleaner into a figure eight, like shown below.
Finally, glue your dragonfly wings onto the back of your dragonfly popsicle sticks.
Once you turn them back over, you’ll have these adorable little guys!
These would make fun summer party decor and would be adorable strung up as a dragonfly garland.
Or they would make adorable easy to make ornaments for the Christmas tree too!
