How to Make a Monkey Puppet
Start by grabbing and printing out the monkey template. Then pick out a few shades of brown paper along with a bit of pink paper.
Our template includes all the pieces you’ll need to create the monkey including his head and face, the outer and inner ears, his tail, belly, hair and cheeks.
Trace out all the pattern pieces onto the colored paper and cut out.
Next, assemble the ears by attaching the inner ear pieces to the out ear pieces, and attach his hair to the top of his head.
Then glue the ears to the top of the monkey’s head on either side of his hair.
Next, attach the face piece to the center of the head piece.
Then glue on his eyes and blush, like shown below.
Then using a black pen or marker to draw a mouth and nose on the monkey.
Grab you paper bag and measure out a piece of paper to cover the entire front of the bag like shown below.
Attach that piece of paper to the front of the bag, not including the flap part. (The bottom of the bag)
Next, attach his tail on either side of him and the belly piece to the center of the front, where the brown paper is.
Finally, attach the head to the bottom of the paper bag by flattening it and gluing it down.
And that’s it. Your monkey puppet is all finished!
