How to Make Your Cat Headband
1. Print Your Chosen Version

2. Color the Crown
If you’re using the black-and-white version, color it before cutting. It’s easier to decorate the face and letters while the paper is still in one piece. Add stripes, spots, or a different color to each ear if you like.
3. Cut Out Both Pieces
Cut around the outside dotted outline of the cat front, keeping its band attached. Then cut out the separate “Cat” strip. The eyes and nose stay on the face; you don’t need to cut openings.
4. Attach the Back Strip
Overlap one end of the “Cat” strip with one end of the front band and secure it with tape or glue. Keep the printed sides facing outward. The word “Cat” belongs at the back of the crown, with the cat face at the front.
5. Adjust the Fit and Close the Band
Gently wrap the crown around your child’s head and adjust the overlap until it sits comfortably. Hold or mark the overlap, remove the crown, and secure the ends. Add a plain strip of paper if you need more length. Let any glue dry before wearing it.
