Tips for Reinforcing the Letter K

To help reinforce the letter learning try adding in some of these activities while doing the craft or afterward.

Saying the letter name and sound out loud: Encourage your child to repeat the letter K name and sound while they are coloring and putting together the craft. This repetition will help reinforce their knowledge of the letter K and its sound.

Identifying objects that start with the letter K: After completing the craft, encourage your child to identify objects around the room that begin with the letter K, such as kite, kangaroo, or key.

Making a list of words that begin with K: Help your child create a list of words that start with the letter K, and practice writing them down.
