Halloween Paper Village Printable (4 Free House Templates)
Build a little spooky street with this Halloween paper village printable! The set includes four black-and-white buildings for kids to color, cut out, fold, and glue together. There’s a witch house, a mummy hospital, a pumpkin shop, and a palace for Dracula.

Line them up on a shelf for a homemade Halloween decoration, or use them as the setting for a spooky pretend-play adventure. If you’re planning a craft afternoon, you can find more activities in our Halloween printables collection.
What’s Included in the Halloween Village?
The printable has four pages, with one building template on each page. All four designs are black and white, so you can choose your own colors or leave them as an outline village. Each template includes the walls, attached roof sections, and tabs labeled “Paste” for assembly.

- Mummy Hospital: A tall building with bandage-like strips across the walls and a sloping roof.
- Witch House: A little house with a picket fence, cobwebs, cracked walls, and a ghost peeking out of a window.
- Dracula Palace: A tall palace with arched windows, shutters, double doors, and a decorative balcony railing.
- Pumpkin Shop: A small shop decorated with pumpkins, curling vines, and cobwebs.
The buildings have different heights and roof shapes, which makes them fun to arrange together. For more houses to build throughout the year, take a look at our 3D paper house templates.
Supplies You’ll Need
- The Halloween village printable
- White paper or cardstock
- Crayons, colored pencils, or markers
- Scissors
- A glue stick or craft glue
- A ruler to help make neat folds (optional)
Cardstock will help the buildings stand up more firmly, though regular paper works too. Younger children may need a hand cutting around the tabs and holding the roof in place while the glue sets.

How to Make Your Paper Halloween Village
- Print the templates. The pages are laid out in landscape orientation. Check the print preview and use a fit-to-page setting if needed so none of the outside tabs are clipped.
- Color while the pages are flat. Decorate the walls, roofs, doors, and windows before cutting. You can also draw extra details on the blank back walls.
- Cut around the outside. Follow the outer edge of each template, including the dashed outlines around the tabs. Keep every tab labeled “Paste” attached. The windows, doors, and other details can stay as drawings.
- Fold the walls, roof, and tabs. Crease where the wall panels meet, where the roof joins the walls, and along the base of each paste tab. The dashed lines around the outside of the tabs are cutting guides, not fold lines.
- Check the shape before gluing. Bring the walls around to form the building and check how the roof sections meet. Apply glue to the side tab and tuck it behind the adjoining wall.
- Attach the roof. Fold the roof into position and glue the roof tabs underneath the adjoining edges. Hold each join briefly, then let the glue dry before moving your house.
- Arrange the village. Repeat with the other templates and stand the finished buildings together.

Tips for Building and Decorating
Start with one house. Let kids choose their favorite building and work through it before making the rest. For a group activity, each child can decorate a different house, then bring them together for a shared display.
Use a little glue at a time. Too much can make the paper soggy and the joins harder to hold. A ruler can help press crisp folds before you start assembling.
Give your village a setting. Arrange the houses on a large sheet of paper and draw a winding road, garden paths, or a town square around them. Our 3D haunted house printable makes another spooky building to add nearby.
Make Up a Village Story
Who needs an appointment at the mummy hospital? What does the witch keep in her attic? Who is shopping for pumpkins today? Once the houses are built, let kids invent the neighbors and tell a story about their little town.
You could also pair the village with our Halloween roll-a-story printable for another way to get the storytelling started.
