Step 2: Add Blush and Wing Details
Attach the blush cutout near the bottom of the head. Then, attach the wing texture along the scalloped edge of the wing cutout.
Step 3: Decorate the Beak
Use a black sharpie to outline and fill in the beak pattern on the white beak cutout. Glue the beak to the front of the head.
Step 4: Draw the Flamingo’s Eye
With a sharpie, draw the flamingo’s eye above the blush pattern.
Step 5: Assemble the Body and Wing
Glue the wing cutout to the body pattern, positioning the scalloped edge toward the tail end.
Step 6: Attach the Legs
Glue the two leg cutouts to the bottom side of the flamingo’s body.
Step 7: Create the Bookmark Base
Cut a strip of cardstock paper to serve as the bookmark base. Attach the bottom of the flamingo’s body to the bookmark base, leaving the legs unglued. The legs will help hold the bookmark in place on the page.
