Carefully cut out each piece along the lines, including the cornucopia and the individual food items.

Lay the cornucopia piece flat on the table and arrange the food items as if they’re spilling out of the cornucopia’s opening.

Once you’re happy with the arrangement, glue each piece in place on or around the cornucopia.

Allow the glue to dry, and your cornucopia is ready to display!

Top Tips

  • Use thicker paper or cardstock for a sturdier cornucopia that holds up well on display.
  • For a 3D effect, only glue the bottom part of each food item, leaving the top part unglued.
  • Add glitter or stickers to enhance the look of the cornucopia.
  • Laminate the finished piece to preserve it as a seasonal keepsake.

Educational Uses

Learn about Harvest Foods: Discuss the types of fruits and vegetables that grow in the fall.

Gratitude Activity: Use the cornucopia as a conversation starter about things children are thankful for.

Fine Motor Development: Cutting and pasting are great for developing scissor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Color Recognition: If using the black-and-white version, children can identify and color each food item appropriately.
